DIMAPUR — Assam Rifles conducted a motivational talk on Operation Sindoor at Don Bosco College, Kohima, on Sunday, as part of an initiative to inspire and motivate the youth.
According to an update, the session was attended by 370 students and formed part of a broader outreach programme aimed at spreading awareness in schools and colleges about the courage of the armed forces.
During the lecture, an insightful account of the sequence of events of the operation was shared, including the meticulous planning, daring execution, and subsequent defensive measures adopted by the forces to safeguard India’s airspace.

The event aimed to strengthen the bond with the youth, instil patriotism, and encourage them to join the armed forces.
On the same day, Assam Rifles also organised a friendly volleyball match with the Youth Organisation, Ministers Hill, in Kohima.
The event sought to strengthen community bonds and create opportunities for interaction and mutual understanding between the local populace and the security forces.
