DIMAPUR — Assam Rifles commemorated the 50th birth anniversary of Captain (late) N Kenguruse, Maha Vir Chakra (posthumous), who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation during the Kargil War of 1999, in Kohima on Monday.
According to an update, the Assam Rifles organised a felicitation ceremony at the residence of the braveheart to honour his dedication and courage and noted that the event holds special significance as the nation is celebrating the Kargil Vijay Diwas Rajat Jayanti this year.
