The effigies were burnt infront of the Post Office during the busy hour on Diphu streets. The AASU members shouted anti-slogans against Education Minister Pegu and Chairman, SEBA for the leak of the question paper.
The leaked General Science subject which was scheduled to be held on March 13 is now rescheduled to March 30.

During the protest, the student body officials said that the incapable SEBA Chairman along with those involved should be arrested and that a CBI inquiry should be constituted.
President, AASU, DRC, Deep Jyoti Mali said that the government of Assam is playing with the lives of students and that the Education Minister has become an incapable Minister to control the Education department for which his ministership cannot be accepted.
Mali also said that Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma should not remain silent but must interfere in the matter. Diphu, March 14 (EMN)
