Dimapur, July 21 (EMN): The Asia Junior Badminton Championships 2017 is all set to start from today at 9 am here at Jaya Raya sport hall, Jakarta, Indonesia and will continue till July 30.
18 Asian Countries are participating which includes Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, India, Chinese Taipei, Singapore, China, Kazakhstan, Hong Kong China, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, Macau China, Nepal, Mongolia, Myanmar and Philippines respectively.
The participating countries have been divided into four groupings based on overall team strength (BWF Junior Ranking dated June 29, 2017).
India has the highest number of participants with 22 players and 7 officials and will face China in the opening match in team event informed Bamang Tago, team manager.
