She called the Hornbill Festival experience “amazing” and “great so far,” hoping that Arunachal Pradesh would get to partner again.
“It is a great opportunity for a state like Arunachal Pradesh to be partner with renowned Hornbill Festival,” she added.
The entrepreneurs are happy that their business is picking up, she said, adding that they are from different parts of Arunachal Pradesh and are selling items like wines, jewellery, and textiles.
The tourism officer also pointed out the similarities between Konyak Nagas and the Wancho tribe of Arunachal Pradesh, saying that one can find the similarities between the two tribes in their motifs, jewellery, and culture. Initially, they faced the challenge of moving from one place to another several times for their accommodation, but now things are settled and they are staying at a homestay.
