Dimapur, Nov. 29 (EMN): As part of the Hornbill Festival, Eastern Art Council and Act of Kindness Society will be hosting ‘Artist Corner’ at Eastern Art Council, Naga Shopping Arcade, Dimapur, from December 1 to the 10th between 10 am and 4 pm. The Artist Corner is being sponsored by the department of Art and Culture.
Lenti Aier, founder and president of Act of Kindness Society, stated that it will be a free registration for all art lovers to come and experience the making of art come to life.
Aier also informed that Can Youth skill development team, Artsy Naga artists, Sisterhood Network, Providence Institute of Design and Media, Ahyulo Kemp, A Meipa Phom, Christopher Aloyssis Hart, Pageronen Aier and many more would take up the workshops during the ten-day programme.
Art exhibition and sale, art demonstration, calligraphy and charcoal workshop, paper-bags making, clay modelling, card making would be some highlights of the programme.
Participation certificates would be provided to all the artists. All artists are asked to submit art works on December 1.
