Dimapur, Dec. 7 (EMN): Artisans from the Chakhesang community including Mhaseveyi Phesao and Nusakho Swuro, demonstrated their carvings of the iconic house emblems symbolising the stature of the individual as a feast giver, on Wednesday at the Naga Artisans’ Meet, World War-II Museum Kisama.
Phesao, an unemployed graduate in the arts stream from C-Edge College, Dimapur, and Swuro, started carving in 2015.
Both are currently working under the owner of Craftwood, Veswuzo Phesao.
They sell their Naga cultural and traditional designs and decorative crafts, according to the size, with some products being sold for INR 2, 00, 000 and above.
