DIMAPUR — The
Department of Art and Culture has expressed deep appreciation to all the 18
cultural troupes from across the districts of Nagaland for their vibrant and
captivating performances at the recently concluded Hornbill Festival 2024.
A DIPR report quoting the department stated that their
dedication in showcasing the rich culture and traditions has been instrumental
in the success of this year’s festival.
The department also thanked the two host village
organizations namely Phesama Village Students’ Union and Kigwema Village
Students’ Union for their warm hospitality and invaluable support in providing
accommodation and catering services to the cultural troupes by ensuring that
the care and warmth provided brought out the best in their performances.
The department also appreciated the officers and staff of
the department of Art and Culture in their commitment, sincerity and teamwork
in carrying out their assigned duties.
The department further acknowledged the invaluable services
rendered by the comperes in presenting the daily cultural programmes with
fervour and clarity.
It looked forward to continuing the spirit of unity and
collaboration in their shared mission to protect, preserve and promote the
vibrant culture of Nagaland.
