Army to recruit youths from Nagaland

Dimapur, Oct. 9 (EMN): The military establishment will be conducting a recruitment rally, for youths from Nagaland only, on December 14 at Bongaigaon in Assam. The defence wing of the Press Information Bureau (PIB) issued a press release on Wednesday to the media informing about the recruitment rally. “The online application has already started and will remain open till 18 Nov 2019. For registration online login to www.joinindianarmy.nic.in,” the press release stated. “Candidates who have registered in the previous rally can login directly and check eligibility and apply fresh. The army career offers professional advancement, job satisfaction, job security, economic stability, social status, quality of life and variety and adventure.” The vacancies are for soldier nursing assistant and sepoy Pharma. The qualifications for the first are 10+2 or intermediate examination pass in science with physics, chemistry, biology and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject. For sepoy Pharma, the qualifications are 10+2 or intermediate examination pass and qualified in D.Pharma with minimum 55% marks in aggregate and registered with the State Pharmaceutical Council / Pharmacy council of India, the press release stated. Individuals qualified in B.Pharma with minimum 50% marks and those registered with the State Pharmaceutical Council / Pharmacy council of India are also eligible, the updates informed. CEE will be conducted at Bongaigaon on January 19, 2020, the updates stated. The last date for registration is November 18 2019, the PIB stated.
