Army organises health camp

Dimapur, May 26 (EMN): About 150 people from Kezobasa village and adjoining areas have availed medical facilities provided by the security forces under the aegis of Trinetra division. The medical aid camp was organised at Kezobasa village community hall in Kohima district on May 25. A Defence release stated that team of doctors including lady doctors had provided medical assistance to an approximate 150 patients of Kezobasa village and adjoining areas. It added that besides providing health check-up, patients were given medicines free of cost. A health awareness booth was also established to address queries and impart health education to the local population through audio video means. A talk was also delivered by a specialist medical officer to encourage healthy habits amongst the population, the statement added.
