Dimapur, Sep. 22 (EMN): Citizens of Dimapur in large numbers joined the Indian army in organising ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan,’ a cleanliness drive, which started on September 16.
A defence release stated that with the consistent efforts and motivation from the troops of Rangapahar Military Station, people are participating in the campaign in large numbers. It added that the feeling of bonhomie and cooperation was visible in all the activities organised by the Spear Corps.
The release also stated that troops of Indian army and citizens of Dimapur are working shoulder to shoulder with zeal and vigour to make ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ a huge success.
The release further stated that Indian army at Rangapahar Military Station has planned a series of events in the coming days in support of the campaign which would culminate on October 2.
