Dimapur, Jan. 22: Forest Protection Force (FPF), during routine patrolling seized one 12 bore gun along with camping materials from inside the Intangki National Park on January 20.
Forest Protection Force intercepted a hunting group comprising three persons along with gun and camping materials inside the Intanki National Park. However, having seen the patrolling party, the group fled from the site. The forest personnel, after hot pursuit, seized one 12 bore gun along with camping materials. The other belongings were burned at the spot while the gun was brought and kept under the custody at Forest Protection Camp.
The Field Director stated that the recovered gun will be dealt with as per relevant Act.
