Dimapur, March 28 (EMN): The Medziphema battalion of the Assam Rifles has informed that it has detained one ‘arms peddler’ from Chumukedima in Dimapur on March 16.
The accused has been identified as one Samuel Kutsu (42) and resident of ward-2 in Chumukedima. The troops said to have recovered two detonators, 62 live ammunitions of .22, and 24 bottles of liquor.
An AR press release stated that the accused along with the seized items were handed over to Chumukedima police station for further investigation.
