Arms and ammunition recovered in Manipur

DIMAPUR — The Indian Army, along with BSF and Manipur Police recovered two miniature rockets, ammunition of mortar and other war-like stores in Churachandpur district during an operation launched on Monday.

An update from PRO Ministry of Defence informed that the joint operation was launched based on “specific information regarding the presence of arms and ammunition in general area S Nabil in Churachandpur district of Manipur”.

It added that the recovered items were handed over to the Manipur Police for further investigation and disposal.
