Diphu, May 8 (EMN): A cache of arms, ammunition and other articles was recovered by a team of Red Horn Division in a successful operation against United Kuki Democratic Army (UKDA) anti-talk militants/extremists hideout in East Karbi Anglong district of Assam on May 7.
Based on specific and spontaneous information about UKDA(AT) militants hideouts in general area ‘MOLSANG’ a team from ‘Sarihajan’ Army Camp launched an operation on May 6.
The timely and well executed operation resulted in recovery of 03 country made self loaded rifles (SLR) , 05 hand grenades, 03 SLR cartridges, 01 ammunition pouch and 03 combat dresses .
