Dimapur, March 25 (EMN): Arenla Subong, front vocalist of folk-fusion band Abiogenesis, received the coveted FLO NE Women Achievers Award for Excellence 2021-22 from the Governor of Assam and Nagaland, Prof. Jagdish Mukhi, during a programme held at Hotel Novotel in Guwahati on March 22.
An update from the band stated that on request from the organisers, Arenla and Moa of Abiogenesis presented a Naga Howey song titled ‘Right Now’ from their album ‘Rustic Relish’ at the programme.
It may be mentioned that the award programme is an annual event organised by Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industries Ladies Organisation North East Chapter better known as ‘FLO NE’ to celebrate the achievement and pay tribute to exceptional women.
