- IMPHAL — The
Arambai Tenggol (AT), a socio-cultural youth organisation of the Meitei
community in Manipur has called off its ongoing bandh from Tuesday, citing
public hardships amid unrest and recent floods.
- Arambai Tenggol’s PRO Robin Mangang announced the decision
during a media briefing in Imphal, stating that it follows a high-level
meeting. He however said the organisation will continue democratic agitations
until their senior leader Kanan is released.
- The PRO appealed for public unity to protect the state's
territorial integrity, clarifying that AT is a socio-cultural organization, not
an armed group.

arrest of its volunteers including one of its leaders, Asem Kanan from late

shutdowns in and around Imphal.
