AR to conduct health camp

EMN Dimapur, March 6 To commemorate its 181 Raising Day, Assam Rifles has announced to organize a free medical camp on March 9 at DDSC stadium, Dimapur, for the local populace and the Ex-Servicemen from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. It has expected huge participation from Dimapur and Peren districts besides others from adjoin areas. The camp would involve in health screening and free diagnostic tests like sugar, HIV, Malaria and Typhoid. In addition to the diagnostic facilities, the camp would also provide the consultation services by specialists such as gynae, ENT, eye and paediatrics. Free medicines would also be provided based on the tests and specialists opinion to the patients. Patients would also have the opportunity to undertake free dental and eye check up at the medical camp. For alternate medicine, a homeopathic consultation would also be available during the camp. Besides, patients and Assam Rifles troops would also have an opportunity to participate in blood donation during the medical camp. The event is likely to be graced by the presence of the State Home Minister, Y Patton, subjected to his availability on the said date. A short cultural programme and free meals would also be organised during the conduct of the medical camp for all the participants.
