Dimapur, Feb. 12 (EMN): Chieswema Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) organised a friendly volleyball tournament on Feb. 10. The volleyball teams of Zeizou and Zadima-II participated in the tournament along with the team of Assam Rifles at Zeizou.
The aim of the tournament was to nurture the sporting talent and encourage youths to participate in constructive activities. A lecture on ‘Say No to Drugs and HIV/ AIDS’ was also organised to raise awareness on the causes, symptoms and preventive measures of HIV/AIDS. The event concluded with prize distribution and refreshments.
