Dimapur, Oct. 19 (EMN): The Zunheboto Assam Rifles Battalion under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) organised a friendly basketball match between the troops of 5 Assam Rifles and Nagaland University at Lumami in Zunheboto district on Oct. 18 according to an update received here on Friday.
The aim of the event was to extend an opportunity to the students of Nagaland University to showcase their talent in sports and provide motivation to talented players. The Assam Rifles also provided 15 pairs of football shoes to the Nagaland University, Lumami football team, added the update.
