AR opens assistance centers for SSC online application

Dimapur, Sept. 5 (EMN): The 5th sector of Assam Rifles has opened registration/ assistance centers for those interested candidates who want to join the Indian security forces through the Staff Selection Commission (SCC). A press release received here on Wed. informed that the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs has invited application from eligible candidate for the post of constable (general duty) in Central Armed Police Force, NIA and SSF and rifleman (general duty) in Assam Rifles for 54953 vacancies (male - 47307, female -7636). The last date for online registration through www.ssconline.nic.in has been fixed on Sep. 17 2018. The mode of selection will be through computer based online examination, physical efficiency test, physical measurement (physical standard test) and medical examination. Therefore, to facilitate the candidates for online registration, the Assam Rifles has opened assistance centers at Kohima (09402438021), Chieswema (9862629920, 7698561432), Wokha (9612235270, 03860242510), Phek (06375140439, 03865223627) and Kiphire (7005646321, 9862826806).
