Dimapur, March 23 (EMN): The Dimapur battalion of the Assam Rifles personnel have informed that it has arrested one ‘arms dealers’ from Pimla village on March 15.
The accused has been identified as Vighoto Kiba (27), son of Hosheto Kiba and resident of Pimla village under Dimapur district. The troops recovered illegal weapons including one .22 rifle with magazine, 27 live rounds of .22 rifle, eight FCC of .22 Rifle, three nos of FCC 12 bore rifle and an approximate 100 gram of explosive from his possession.
The Assam Rifles release stated that the accused along with the seized items were handed over to the Chumukedima Police Station for further investigation.
