Dimapur, June 24 (EMN): The Phek Battalion of Assam Rifle (AR) conducted an awareness programme about the government schemes at Ziphu village in Phek district on June 23. A press release from the AR informed on Sunday.
The interaction covered various schemes of the central and state government such as Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and also about the importance of Aadhaar Card.
The lecture was organised with an aim to spread awareness among the people residing in the remote areas of Nagaland of the various schemes of the central and state government so as to enable them to derive maximum benefit out of it.
