Dimapur, July 15 (EMN): The Wokha battalion Assam Rifles of under the aegis of HQ Igar (north) interacted with the GBs of Tseminyu on July 14.
A press release from AR informed that an interaction was held to discuss issues pertaining to development and coordination which required among all sections of the society in the overall progress of the region.
Altogether 41 GBs from all neighbouring villages participated.
Also, the Phek battalion Assam Rifle has conducted a lecture on HIV and AIDS and drugs abuse at Ziphu on July 14.
The lecture covered topics such as types of drugs and its abuse and effects.
The participants were advised to encourage and help addicts to avail the facility of the rehabilitation centre at Phek town. The contact numbers of officers in concern of the Nagaland AIDS and Drug Control Society at Phek was shared with the participants.
Altogether 25 residents attended the session.
