The HQ 5 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ Inspector General Assam Rifles (North) donated sports items to Zhadima Village Youth & Sports Organization (ZVYSO) as part of their active participation in sports on January 3. Meanwhile, ZVYSO president Uitseizohie Sorunvo has extended gratitude to the Assam Rifles for donating sports items to the organization which he said will help and inspire the young talents to move forward with true spirit in sports.
The ZVYSO president has also congratulated the IGAR (N) football team, who won the 1st open football tournament held in Zhadima village in the year 2014, which was the first security forces team to participate in the tournament and declared as champion.
