Dimapur, May 15 (EMN): The upper Khoripok Company operating base of 26 Assam Rifles of the 9th sector Assam Rifles distributed 100 solar Lights were distributed to the Kamjong district in Manipur on May 15. A press release from the Assam Rifle on Tuesday informed.
The initiative was stated to have been the as part of spreading light and a step towards clean energy. The villagers selected were- Upper Khoripok, Molan, Natjang, Hongbi, Sangpunram, Thangja, Lairam Phunka, and Lairam Khullen.
The villagers appreciated the efforts of Assam Rifles in reaching out to them.
