A statement from the Assam Rifles establishment mentioned that the lecture covered the benefits of hygiene and sanitation for human health in particular, and the society in general. In a similar programme, Kiphire battalion also organised a lecture on ‘Stay fit stay healthy’ in Anatongre village under Kiphire district on January 15. According to the statement, the lecture covered the importance of healthy diet and the benefits of staying fit during which 20 youth attended the lecture. Meanwhile, Wokha battalion of Assam Rifles also conducted a lecture on career opportunities at COB in Tseminyu on January 17. The lecture included insights on various opportunities available in the armed forces and the importance of skill development towards broadening a career. Altogether, 30 participants attended the lecture.
