Dimapur, March 16 (EMN): The 11th Assam Rifles of 26 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarter IGAR (South) organised a motivational lecture “Join Armed Forces” at T’Minou village, Moreh on Wed. March 15. A total of 67 locals including 57 males, eight females and two children attended the lecture informed a press note from the AR.
The lecture was aimed to create awareness on joining armed forces and to provide insight into various opportunities being offered on choosing military as a career. The young enthusiasts it informed were enlightened on various types of entries including the recruitment procedure and were briefed on the service benefits as well. The lecture not only motivated them to join the armed forces but also laid a foundation for promoting patriotism among the youths, stated the press note.
