AR apprehends NSCN(K)  cadres in Arunachal

Dimapur, Sep. 14 (EMN): In a series of intense operations on underground outfits, Longding Battalion apprehended one cadre and a worker of NSCN(K) identified as A Tingmai and Sikandra Sahni from Niausa village on Sep. 14. The PRO (Defence) Colonel C Konwer issued a press release on Fri. Sep. 14 stating that the duo during spot interrogation admitted of being linked with NSCN(K) and confessed working for the group. The battalion also recovered INR 11 lakhs and extortion notes from their possession which was carried for delivery to SS Col Bopa Wangno, chairman Tangsang Wangcho region of NSCN(K), stated Konwer.
