Apple Watch Series 7 price announced for India, pre-orders starts October 8

Dimapur, October 4 (EMN): American tech giant Apple announced today that its new Apple Watch Series 7 devices will be available for pre-orders from October 8 at 5:30 pm IST.

The new Apple Watch Series 7 starts at INR 41,990 for the 41mm aluminium version with Wi-Fi, INR 44,900 for the 45mm with Wi-Fi, INR 50,900 for the 41mm with Cellular+Wi-Fi and INR 53,900 for the 45mm with Cellular+Wi-Fi.

The stainless steel variant starts at INR 69,900 for the 41mm with Cellular+Wi-Fi and INR 73,900 for the 45mm with Cellular+Wi-Fi.

The Apple Watch Series 7 devices will be available in all stores including online and offline markets on October 15 — the same day it goes live in more than 55 countries.

According to Apple, the Series 7 devices has "nearly 20 percent more screen area and thinner borders at just 1.7 mm."

Apple also claims that the Series 7 display is "up to 70 per cent brighter indoors than that of Apple Watch Series 6."

The larger screen on the Series 7 enables it to have features like a full swipe-based QWERTY keyboard and two additional watch faces.

Apple claims that the Series 7 devices offer 18 hours on a single charge, the same as the previous generation, however, the Series 7 can charge 33 per cent faster than the previous generation.

Other features include IP6X dust resistance rating, water-resistant up to 50 meters and watchOS8.
