I am deeply pained with the outbreak of COVID-19 and its effect the world is facing today and I wish to express my profound solidarity to every individual who has been affected by COVID-19 pandemic.
At this crucial juncture we cannot afford to be complacent and be a victim of this dreaded virus, therefore, NPF party has distributed leaflets on awareness for COVID-19 outbreak in 15 local dialects with deep concern for the general public from rural areas who do not understand English and also distributed sanitisers, masks, etc.
An earnest appeal to my fellow Rengmas wherever you are: strictly abide and follow the Govt’s directives and implement total lockdown which is the only way to contain the virus from spreading. Be strong in every aspect and continue to fight and also pray ceaselessly.
Let us all extend our co-operation and help in every way possible to the Administration, Police, Medical Departments, our apex NGOs and volunteers who are all in the forefront sacrificing their own for our survival.
God with us we shall overcome.
