DIPHU, March 21 (EMN): The All Party Hills Leaders Conference – Youth Wing (APHLC- YW) on Tuesday raised questions as to why permission was not granted to APHLC –YW for holding its youth conference in Nilip area, when the BJP, RSS and other organisations were granted amidst imposition of 144 CrPC in the district.
In a press conference held at the District Press Club of Karbi Anglong in Diphu on Tuesday, the secretary in-charge, APHLC – YW, Shersing Bey said preparations were on for holding of the youth conference at Nilip area on March 23 and the 24th but were denied permission by the district administration citing that 144 CrPC were still enforced in the district.

He informed that the conference has been rescheduled to April 3 and the 4th and asked leaders of the central committee, Legislative Assembly, Constituency Committee and members of youth and women wings to be part of the conference.
