Dimapur, May 25 (EMN): The Action plan committee (APC) of Tuensang district rued upon the ongoing road construction under 3rd NAP Sector, Tuensang (88-93km).
Despite of several appeals been made to the department and the contractor concerned, the committee stated that no positive response had been made so far.
“Owing to this, there is a public hue and cry complaining the negligible work undertaking by the contractor” APC stated.APC also stated that the NH 202 is still lying in pathetic conditions as before due to poor work quality.
APC demanded utilization of the machinery and equipments for the said roads or to hand it over to the Action Plan Committee.
APC also resolved to wait for only 15 days to meet their demand w.e.f the publication of this letter. Further the committee has cautioned that failing to comply with the resolution, the committee shall not hesitate to take any course of action thereafter.
