AON to participate at the National off-road event

Dimapur, July 19: The Association of Offroaders Nagaland (AON) will be participating in the Force Gurkha Rainforest Challenge 2016 and India 4x4 week. According to a press release that was issued Tuesday, Yanrenthung Jamio, member of AON will be competing in the RFC India season 3 scheduled for July 22 to 29 in Goa with Siddhartha Santosh of BODA (Bangalore Offroad Drivers Association). The duo will be competing in the 1600cc petrol category. They will be driving a Maruti Gypsy with a 1.6L engine. The duo aims at improving on their last year's result where they finished 6th in overall classification and 2nd runners-up in class. According to the press note, RFC India is part of the RFC Global Series that includes events in Italy, Russia, Balkans, Poland, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Thailand, Tunisia, China & Australia.In another event, the first India 4X4 Week will be held at Goa from July 22 and till 24. According to a press note, Khrozo Nuh and Senthungo Ovung will be representing the AON at the India 4x4 week. AON is a supporting club in both the events i.e., RFC India and the India 4x4 week.
