DIMAPUR — The Ao
Senden has taken strong exception to the statement of NSCN (Khango-Hokato) in
the demand for accountability for MSME scheme implementation by means of
submission of cash vouchers and invoices for all purchased under Mirco and
Small Enterprises Common Development (MSE-CDP) from Aolemba Longkumer.
- An update from Ao Senden stated that Aolemba is only a part
of the programme adding that the success and failure of the programme does not
solely depended upon him but collectively. Stating that the concerned
department has given clarification on the status of the programme, it urged the
NSCN (Khango-Hokato) to stop persecuting him.
- It stated that Ao Senden would not lie idle but take
necessary measures when its bonafide citizens are being irrationally persecuted
by any Naga political factions either by deeds or in words.
- In this regard, it called upon the NSCN (Khango-Hokato) to
stop persecution of Aolemba Longkumer immediately and stop testing the patience
of the Ao Naga community.
- “The machineries of the Government of India and the state
government of Nagaland should be let to do their assigned duties in case of any
corruption under their watch, but the NSCN (Khango-Hokato) must not act as the
government’s watchdog,” the statement read.
- Meanwhile, the Ao Senden has urged the government of
Nagaland to uphold the rule of law and not act blind and deaf when its citizens
are under duress from Naga political factions in the implementation of
government sponsored schemes but take necessary protective measures
immediately.
