DIMAPUR — The Ao Senden and the NSCN/GPRN-K Michael have condemned the alleged sexual abuse and rape of minors in Dimapur and Phek, demanding exemplary punishment for the perpetrators.
In a statement, the Ao Senden strongly condemned the alleged sexual crime against a minor girl in Dimapur and stated that there is no place in the world for such animalistic conduct against fellow humans, especially against a vulnerable minor girl.
It urged law enforcement agencies to accord speedy and exemplary punishment to the guilty persons irrespective of their status and position in life.

Meanwhile, the NSCN/GPRN-K Michael, condemning the alleged sexual abuse and rape of minors in Dimapur and Phek, described the acts as a profound violation of human dignity and a destruction of childhood innocence, the group stated that any individual, irrespective of identity, affiliation, ethnic origin, or political stance, who commits such atrocities must face full accountability without delay, exception, or impunity.
The group expressed solidarity with civil society organisations and right-thinking citizens, calling on law enforcement agencies to provide full protection and respect for the victims and to ensure that no perpetrator of child abuse escapes accountability.
