Dimapur, April 17 (EMN): The 4th Convocation of the Ao Senden Literature Board has been scheduled on May 5 at Town Hall, Mokokchung from 10 a.m., with Rev. Dr. Mar Pongen, Principal of Clark Theological College (CTC) Aolijen as speaker.
11 Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) and 80 B.A (Diploma) students will be offered certificates under the nomenclature called Proficiency Examination (Arangtet Tatidang) in Ao language conducted by the Ao Senden Literature Board. 17 prominent persons will also receive Commendation Certificates for their significant contributions towards the growth and promotion of Ao literature in various subjects representing different walks of life.A cash award of Rs. 5000/- each along with Certificate of Honor will be given to toppers in Ao subject in different level of examinations conducted by Literature Board on the same occasion. A group of three young men, popularly known as Samaro Singers will also be awarded Rs. 5000/- each as they commemorate 25 years of Music Ministry in 2017.
The Jemtimenba Mollier Foundation (JMF) will honor the toppers and Samaro group selected for cash award and this initiative will continue even in future as a sign of encouragement to the youngsters.
