MOKOKCHUNG — The Ao Kaketshir Mungdang (AKM), the apex body of Ao students, is set to organise its 70th general conference at Chungtia village, Mokokchung district, from January 13 to the 15th.
Lanutoshi Aier, president of AKM, and Tsükünungtemsu Longchar, president of the Chungtia Students’ Union, announced the details during a press conference held in Chungtia village on Saturday.
The theme of the conference is “Strengthening horizons”.
Addressing a query on potential new resolutions and objectives, Aier explained that a dedicated Resolution Committee, composed of experts from diverse fields, will deliberate on practical, student-centric proposals. These are expected to address key challenges, such as the employability gap among educated Naga youth.
