Ao bodies in Kohima felicitated Nagaland Chief Secretary Sentiyanger Imchen for his service and commitment to unity and progress.

DIMAPUR — The Ao Senden, along with the Ao Baptist Arogo Mungdang (ABAM), Ao legislators, the Ao Kaketshir Mungdang, the Watsu Mungdang, the Ao Lanur Telungjem, and the Ao Officers Telungjem, organised a felicitation programme in honour of Nagaland Chief Secretary Sentiyanger Imchen at his official residence in Kohima on Wednesday.
Speaking at the programme, Sentiyanger expressed gratitude to the Ao Senden and others for the honour and reaffirmed his commitment to work for the welfare and progress of the people of Nagaland.
According to a DIPR report, he stated that unity is the foundation of progress and development and urged the gathering to work collectively towards addressing challenges faced by society.
Imchen stressed the need to focus on one’s goal and work hard towards achieving it, which in turn will strengthen the community. He further reminded everyone to remain thankful for their blessings and to continue seeking wisdom in all endeavours.

Minister for Rural Development Metsubo Jamir, in his address, called upon the gathering to “walk the talk” and emphasised that real change comes through action and collective commitment. He urged the Ao community to uphold unity and integrity for the betterment of society and the state.
Other speakers at the programme included the president of Ao Kaketshir Mungdang, president of Ao Lanur Telungjem, and the legal advisor of Ao Senden, CT Jamir.
A special prayer of blessing was offered by Rev. Temsu Jamir, executive secretary of ABAM, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Ao Senden President Marsanen Imsong.
