‘The Watchman’ express support to SNM
IN another press release The Watchman states it stands with the resolution made by the newly formed Survival Nagaland. The Watchman team decried the activities of the illegal Bangladeshi immigrants taking place in Nagaland. The release from Pastor James Ngullie, Pastor David Khobung, Pastor Tepu Khieya says The Watchman also decries the actions of some Nagas who are harbouring and encouraging illegal immigrants to procure fake documents and voting rights from various offices.
‘We condemn this unlawful and devious collaboration with foreigners who bring disharmony and threat to Naga society’ says the release. The Watchman encourages all young and old original Nagas to be vigilant against a people i.e. IBIs who threatens our local economy, our lives and our faith, adds the release. The Watchman the release states has ‘observed that very identity of Nagas is being threatened by marrying our Naga girls and buying our precious land’. The Watchman therefore supports and stand with the awakened movement called Survival Nagaland. It says it has observed that IBIs have entered ‘our land by deceit and their intent is to possess the land at any cost’. The release ends by calling all Nagas to be ‘awake and alert as our better tomorrow will be what we do today’.
