Dimapur, June 8 (EMN): The All Nagaland School Teachers Association of Peren unit has demanded the state government to immediately regularize the service of the 1166 adhoc teachers.
A press release from the unit president and general secretary stated that the Education dept. is aware that the All Nagaland Adhoc Teachers Group (ANATG) had fulfilled all the criteria, terms and condition directed to them by undergoing required professional training, suitability test conducted by the department on May 20 2017, spot verification of documents on May 22 2017.
The unit expressed resentment over the government for not addressing and denying justice to the adhoc teachers who have been serving for 8-9 years with fixed pay.
The unit urged the state government to regularize the post of 1166 teachers of various categories without any further delay.
Meanwhile, the unit also extended its support to the ongoing agitation of the SSA teachers. It unit further appealed the government to find an amicable solution to fulfill the aggrieved teachers at the earliest.
