All Nagaland Private Schools’ Association (ANPSA) Extempore and Choir Competition for Dimapur unit was held today at Covenant hall, Christian Higher Secondary School (CHSS) where Cross Wonder Ministry President, Pastor Ketou Theunuo graced the event as the chief guest.
Pastor Theunuo in his address, called upon the students to explore and learn from each other and to trust in their own innate qualities.
Citing an instance of the US President Barack Obama who once said, ‘the only force that can really weaken us is… us’. He asked the students not to envy others’ talent but to trust in the talent God has given to each and explore it instead of making effort struggling to imitate someone. He encouraged the students to take up challenge to be themselves as every individual is unique in the eyes of God and be grateful in the position they are placed.
For extempore speech competition, the first bagged by Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, second by Holy Cross Higher Secondary School and third by Christian Higher Secondary School. In the category of Choir Competition, the first bagged by Greenwood Higher Secondary School, second by Little Star Higher School and third by Christian Higher Secondary School.
Earlier, the opening prayer was pronounced by CHSS Chaplain Bokali Haralu, welcome address delivered by CHSS Vice Principal G.Haralu and vote of thanks rendered by St.Mary Higher Secondary School Vice Principal Poneet Dutta.
