Another body recovered from Doyang dam

WOKHA — The combined team of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) Wokha and Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) on Thursday recovered the body of Thungchio Patton from Doyang dam at around 10 am.

Two youth namely Elanthung Ngullie and Thungchio Patton drowned on May 27. While the body of Elanthung Ngullie was retrieved on May 29 using underwater drone, the body of Thungchio Patton was recovered on Friday after four days of intensive search operation.

The funeral service of both the victims was held at Doyang on May 29 and 30 respectively.
