No case shall be entertained beyond the given dates. Pensioners can also download the Life Certificate form from the website treasuries.nagaland.gov.in.
The Sub-Treasury Office informed all pensioners receiving their pension from the office that the annual physical verification for 2025 is scheduled to take place from September 16 to September 19.
The verification will be conducted from 10 am onwards. The assigned dates and serial numbers are as follows: family pensioners with serial numbers 1 to 166 on September 16; family pensioners with serial numbers 167 to 332 on September 17; life pensioners with serial numbers 1 to 250 on September 18; and life pensioners with serial numbers 251 to 505 on September 19.
Pensioners are required to produce their PPO Book, Life Certificate duly attested by a gazetted officer, and an ID card issued by the Pensioners' Association. Life certificates can also be collected free of cost from the Pension Section starting August 25.
Pensioners are advised to refer to their PPO book serial number and report for physical verification on the allotted date. Pensioners who have not completed six months from their first payment are exempted. Pensioners incapacitated by bodily illness or infirmity, and in all cases where such inability may be alleged, are required to submit their residential address and contact number.
The facility for video-based verification will be extended to pensioners who are aged 80 years and above as per pension records, as well as those who are bedridden, paralysed, PwD, or mentally incapacitated. Where video-based verification is not feasible, a door-to-door verification will be undertaken by deputed officials to ascertain the existence of the pensioner at their residential address.
No extension will be granted beyond the specified dates, and pension disbursement for September will be withheld for all pensioners who fail to complete the physical verification.
