ANHTU Kohima, Dimapur units support Hindi teachers’ demand

Dimapur, March 2: All Nagaland Hindi Teachers Union (ANHTU) Kohima Unit has extended its support on the decision made by the CSS along with ANHTU central body on February 28, emergency meeting held at Dimapur. The unit stands along with the 1379 CSS Hindi teachers on their demand for the nine long months pending salaries and assured every possible support. In a pressnote issued by unit president Kekhrieneilie Tsikhano and information and publicity secretary Nelson Yhokha, questioned the concerned department in which way does they expect the teachers to perform their duty when they are not been paid for almost a year. ANHTU Kohima Unit also requested the DoSE to address the matter and responsible officers to act on this issue at the earliest and release all the pending salaries.In a separated note, All Nagaland Hindi Teachers’ Union (ANHTU) Dimapur Unit has extended support to the appealed made by the ANHTU Central body and CSS Hindi Teachers to the Department of School Education (DoSE) to release the nine month pending salaries of the 1379 CSS Hindi Teachers. In a press release, unit president Petemo Lotha, and general secretary H. Daniel Sema, questioned the department how one can maintain and manage the daily requirements and needs of the family. The unit appealed the concerned authority to release the salaries as early as possible.
