Dimapur, May 25 (EMN): Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS) of All Nagaland Hindu Teachers’ Union (ANHTU) has appealed to release the pending salary in accordance with the assurance made by the government.
ANHTU release today said the assurance for release of pending salary of Hindi teachers under CSS was given by the State chief secretary at Chief Minister’s Office on March 17in the presence of the chief minister, minister of school education and the all representatives of All Nagaland Hindi Teachers’ Union.
It was assured that the pending salary would be paid within April 2017 based on release of funds by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. It also made it cleared that Government of India had already released the fund and deposited in the State government account.
In the light of the above stated circumstances, the union requested the State government to release the remaining pending salaries at a time for CSS Hindi teachers so that they could repay the loans which was taken during non-payment of their salaries.
