MDoNER Joint Secretary Angshuman Dey inspects PM-DeVINE and NEC projects in Dimapur, stressing timely completion and quality standards.

DIMAPUR — A project inspection of works under the Prime Minister’s Development Initiative for North East (PM-DeVINE) and North Eastern Council (NEC) schemes was conducted in Dimapur district on Saturday by Angshuman Dey, joint secretary, Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER), during his official visit to Nagaland.
Dey inspected the construction of the 220/132 kV (2×100 MVA) and 132/33 kV (2×50 MVA) Tsitrongse–Dimapur substation being executed under the PM-DeVINE scheme, according to a DIPR report.

He also inspected the upgrade works of the Radiation Oncology department at Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research, Dimapur, which is being implemented under the same scheme to strengthen cancer care facilities and improve access to advanced treatment services in the district.
The joint secretary was accompanied by Kasho Chishi, chief engineer (Transmission and generation); Asangla Imti, secretary of the Power department; and Temsunaro Aier, development commissioner, along with other departmental officials.
He interacted with implementing agencies and district officials and stressed the need for timely completion of works, adherence to quality standards, and effective utilisation of funds to ensure tangible benefits for the people.
