Dimapur, Nov. 2 (EMN): Demanding justice for Neiphretuo Metseio, Northern Angami Youth Organisation (NAYO) has urged the concerned agency to accelerate the investigation and charge sheet the case at the earliest.
Neiphretuo Metseio was murdered by Yurreingam Ronra Shimray @ Thangmeingam, son of Starson R Shimray of Kharasom Lazo village, Manipur, and Mrs Ringthingchon on September 7.
Neiphretuo Metseio was serving as an inspector of 5th NAP (SN) at Pfutsero, when he was robbed and brutally murdered on the way to his place of posting.
NAYO president, Neizolie Rupreo, and the press secretary, Kiyasetuo Kenguruse, have expressed dissatisfaction over the state’s law enforcing agency for delaying the investigation saying “justice delayed is justice denied.” Besides demanding “death penalty” for the culprits, the organisation further warned any individual or party’s influence over the case or grants of bail to anyone related to the case until settled by the court.
