
Angami Students' Union (ASU) outgoing and new teams at ASU head office, Kohima, on
Monday.
- KOHIMA — The Angami Students' Union (ASU) held
its ceremonial "Change of guard" for the new executive team at its
head office in Kohima on Monday.
- During the programme, Diezevisie Nakhro assumed office as
the president of ASU for the 2025–2027 tenure in the presence of senior leaders
and tribunal members, according to an update from ASU.
- The programme was chaired by Metebo-o Sote. A prayer was
offered by Zhasakholie Kehie, while a short speech was delivered by the
outgoing president, Khriesamhalie David Mere.
- Kezhazer Angami, chairman of the Election Commission and
former president of ASU, also addressed the gathering.
- President Diezevisie Nakhro pledged that he and his team
would serve the union to the best of their abilities and sought the guidance
and wisdom of seniors to further strengthen the union.
