
DIMAPUR — The Angami Krotho Bengaluru celebrated Sekrenyi festival on February 24 at the Students Christian Movement of India campus.
According to a press release, Nouneseno Punyü, headmistress of Samsidh International School, Vidyaranyapura, Bangalore, attended the event as the special guest and spoke about the significance of the Sekrenyi festival, emphasising the importance of cultural preservation and language in fostering community unity.
She advocated for continuous learning and the preservation of one's mother tongue in today's globalised world. Punyü also congratulated the Angami Krotho Bengaluru on their commendable achievements and lauded their efforts to establish a constitution, acknowledging its critical role.
The event also featured the inauguration of Angami Krotho Bengaluru by Kevilhoubei Yiese, culminating with a communal feast. The Angami Krotho Bengaluru expressed gratitude to all the well-wishers and donors who contributed to the Sekrenyi festival.
